I need help with teen party ideas?

i need help. my 17th is coming up, i want a party, not at my house and not lame or too expensive.


i had ideas like:


a big dinner at a restruant and becasue harry potter comes out on my birthday we'd go c that afterwards. but i want something fun.


or a


like day party some where, where i'd hire out sumo suits and a jumping castle. probem with that is i dunno where to have it and if people would like it.


or


a party at a venue where i'd chose theme some sort of theme. problem is the venue. i dunno anywhere in perth western australia (southside of the river) where they'd allow underage drinking.


or a party somewhere at perth like rollarblade party-but thats already happend. or paintballing or something.





i need help with deciding, i wanna know your thoughts on my ideas and also your own ideas. if u live in perth can u give me some ideas in where i could throw a party.


but then again i want like a party with hell lots of dancing

If you want to see Harry Potter, what you can do is rent out a theauter. Some theaters you can rent out for 200-500 dollars and then you could watch the movie. you could have entertainment going on when guests arive in the lobby area and have a dj come and you could dance there. to make the party seem more interesting, throw in a black and white theme, or red carpet where everyone has to come as a movie star, since it is at the movies. If everyone comes as couples, you could have a prize for the best one, like at prom with king and queen or at the emmys.


Rollerblading parties are a little middle school, if you ask me.

Reply:well, my suggestion is that what ever you do, make sure that there is some awesome music in the background and those sound like great ideas if you ask me. although, i'd shy away from the underage drinking. trust me, i'm 15 and my bro is 17 and sometimes he comes home so drunk from parties that its like babysitting a 4-yr old lol but besides that, just have a blast! and happy b-day
