Halloween Party Ideas?
My little brother is in middle school and I helped him with his party this year. We're having it tomorrow night. :)

First, let me say good on planning ahead! One thing to consider though, is how much your tastes will change in one year. From music and style to food and friends. Just something to keep in mind. One thing you can start doing is saving a little bit of money every month from allowance or what not. Let's say you save $20 a month, that's only $5 a week. Well, that gives you $240 for your rockin' Halloween party! Pretty awesome, huh?

Of course make it a costume party and send out invitations a couple weeks in advance to give people plenty of time to say they're going to your party and not someone elses. One thing you could consider would be a specific theme; Nightmare Before Christmas, classic horror movies, etc.

One thing I would suggest is to take advantage of the discounts of everything right after Halloween. Grab some decorations for super cheap and store them until next year! You can also see if you can get any cheap magazines with all the food ideas in them for cheap too.

One thing to remember to really plan for if you want an awesome Halloween is your costume. Plan it WAY in advance...before you think you even should be thinking about it and you will be the belle of the ball. Making your own is always awesome! Or even having your mom or somebody help you make something totally original is always a great memory maker.

There are LOADS of party games EVERYWHERE online as well as recipes and such things. http://www.allrecipes.com is my favorite for finding recipes in general and people rate their favorites.

Other than games, you can listen to Halloween classic music (Monster Mash, Love Potion Number Nine, etc), you can watch scary movies, and don't forget about telling ghost stories! Another favorite is a Wal-Mart scavenger hunt. Create a wacky list of things and have teams find the best stuff and take pictures of it. That not your thing? Try a video scavenger hunt. Those are terrific fun. Have something on the list like, "Get footage of your team trick or treating". The more embarrassing or random, the better and more fun to watch later.

One last option is to find all the top rated haunted houses in your area and check them out. I went with my friends to three really cool ones and we had a blast.

This is all subject to your taste of course, but I hope I have given you some ideas. :) The big tips to remember are:

- Save some cash for it

- Plan your costume ahead of time and make it unique

- Buy discounted stuff right after Halloween for great deals!

- Ask your friends what they'd like to do, too! The more creative minds, the better.

Happy Halloween, and good luck planning next year!
Reply:well i once went to this party and we threw toilet paper all over their trees. They had music and we got to make a mummy out of people and then they would make the people who were mummys dance. Report It
