Which Political Party would you say is the most passionate about enviromental issues in America?

Out of all the many different political parties in the United States including Third Parties, which political party would you say is the most passionate about enviromental issues such as pollution, clean air and water, recycling, and global warming.

I say the political party that is the most passionate about enviromental issues in America is the Republican Party.

Which Political Party would you say is the most passionate about enviromental issues in America?
The Green Party: they recycle the same Platform every election.

Second would be the Republicans. The President who set aside more US park land than anyother: Teddy Roosevelt. Second on the list? Richard Nixon. Who passed the establishment of the EPA and made it a Cabinet position? Nixon. Clean Water Act? Nixon. Clean Air Act? Nixon. 55 mph speed limit? Gerry Ford.

I know how folks hate to hear that as I was planting trees last weekend with a bunch of libs for the 'Greening of Detroit', but gotta figure someone has to tell them truth every so often.

The sad truth is that Nixon would not be considered a Conservative today. GWB has turned the party away from our Conservative roots. Sorry Mr. K. GWB has harmed the Party and it will take decades to fix his sins.
Reply:The parties are not for the environment because they get all kinds of money from oil companies in their campaigns. Why do you think the Republicans are the best? Most Republicans have the worse environment report card.
Reply:I would say you are probably wrong. The Republican party has turned into the party of the corporation.
Reply:Hello? Green Party is called such for a reason.. it's about more than just pot o.O
Reply:I agree with Ryan.
Reply:I honestly think none of them really give a sh*t...
