Ok, so sometime next month I'm going to be hitting a formal party, then another formal party on a yacht, the formal party is going to be in the afternoon, and the party on the yacht will be in the evening. What's an outfit that can be worn for both occasions?

Anything formal should be okay for both occasions, if you truly think you need to spruce up a bit more for the evening, perhaps use a few different accessories, a bit more jewelry while you don't wear as much in the afternoon?
