Need party ideas for 14 yr old girls birthday (boy girl) party?

My daughter is turning 14 and having her first boy-girl party. Party starts at 6pm.. Boys leave at 11pm, girls are sleeping over. We have a pool, hot tub and large deck for dancing so that's definitely on the agenda. Also volleyball and maybe football, bocce ball... and flashlite tag. She's picking her music... I'm planning on having snacky type food, pizza and soda. Maybe have a fire later on... I'm trying to "keep it simple" and keep decorations to a minimum... maybe just lots of lights outside, balloons... I want it to be really fun but not overboard. Looking for suggestions for other fun activities. I always do theme parties and would LOVE a cool easy theme to pull it together... Let me know if you have any.... (Please NO anwers about making out, strippers, or alcohol.) Thanks!

you don't need a theme! just do everything you already mentioned!
Reply:Im 14 and turning 15.. most girls dont like themes.. Especialy not barbie or any of that junk.. so just talk to her.. she may want a theme like mardi gras... or stuff like that but for the rest of the stuff.. its really cool and sounds.. fun.... I also want to come but.. i really dont think she cares about a theme just as long as family and friends are there.
Reply:when i had my turning 14 party it was also my first boy girl party. not to mention it was about a week ago. we had a scavengar hunt around my neighbor hood. it was so much fun. my mom set up all the hints and we got to figure everything out.





oh and i recommend you get somthing to keep mosquitoes away. they were kinda a problem at mine.

If it's not a hassle, the kids can chill out around a bonfire when it gets dark. Maybe even roast a few marshmellows while they listen to your daughter's music.





You can also split the kids in groups of 2 or 3 and have a scavenger hunt. The first team to get all the items on the list wins a small prize.





But it seems like you already have an ample amount of activities in line. Sounds like a fun party!

Reply:11 minutes in heaven is a great game it's similar to spin the bottle. What u do is spin the bottle then who ever it lands on has to go in the closet with the person who spun the bottle and make out for 11minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply:I recently gave my friends daughter who was turning 14 a birthday party and had lots of different activities. Everyone had a blast but it was the scavenger hunt that everyone was talking and laughing about the next day. We came up with some really cool things on the list. Reply:What you have sounds really solid, seems like you know whats cool. The important thing is lots of music, a good idea would be an ipod so you dont have to change out cd's or even a laptop filled with hot music. Make it loud, and she will be proud.
Reply:music and movies and I think that after the pool everyone can get cleaned up and then you all can have a makeover night. It is time to get crazy and silly with makeup and hair. Maybe have every girl bring a silly pair of pjs to have a fashion show at the end of it xbox tornament boys can have there time of playing like blind fold your girls while the boys do some make overs thats only if the girls wat 2

as long as u keep the music going and the party in a smaller space people wont driftoff. have maybe a theme like something starting with the first letter of her name. or just fancy dress-the posibilities are endless. have fun.
