Well, first of all if you have any better ideas tell me. I am turning 12 on April 30th. My party is going to be that weekend. I live n Texas so the weather is going to be hot.
My Idea for my party is chocolate themed. I am trying to think of activities but don't have enough. I also need ideas for what to put in a gift bag for a chocolate party. I am invited somewhere around 13 people but I am going to narrow it down.
Do you have any better ideas for a party? what are They? what should we do at a chocolate themed party? what would go in the gift bags?
Birthday Party?
i like that idea.
i would invite 12 people.
and, i would put all chocolate in the bags. hersheys, m%26amp;ms, snickers, reeses, etc.
you could make chocolate covered strawberries. you could even have a contest on who can make the best chocolate recipe and get your parents to judge it. you could divide into 2 or 3 teams and then provide them with a recipe or make them think if their own and then see who can make the best one.
you could also do a chocolate art competiton and have white, milk, and dark chocolate melted and cheap paint brushes or something(you could put food coloring in the white) and see who can make the best art w/ that. you could do that in teams of 2. paper might not work for that so you might have to provide them with a peice of wood or something.
those are just some ideas.
Reply:yes, a chocolate themed party is great!
here's some ideas:
gift bags- chocolate bars, chocolate soap(http://www.pcfallon.com/detail.asp?produ... chocolate bubble bath(http://www.cosmeticmall.com/product_deta... and chocolate cookies
snacks- chocolate fondue( dip fruit, pastries, cookies, and wafers),chocolate icecream, and chocolate- covered popcorn
dinner- chocolate milk and chocolate pizza(get a tortilla thing, drizzle melted chocolate, and top with marshmallows)
hope these help!
Reply:they sell microwaveable chocolate at the grocery store and wal mart that you can use to dip pretzels, strawberries etc. like a chocolate fondue that you and your friends can do.
you can do party stuff based on charlie and the chocolate factory ...i wonder if you could blindfold and taste jelly beans or other candy or even fizzy sodas and guess what it is and give cool prizes to whoever gets the most right
they have really cool gift boxes of chocolates at target - i forget what they are called but they are really funky and modern and great looking for a girls party favor - you don't have to do a bag...you're getting older
there are some great bakeries that will do custom cakes for you...see if you can get them to do really wild chocolate cake for you - white chocolate shavings, raspberry filling, etc...
i am in texas too, and i hope you wont be doing any of this outside! have fun!
