need help with a few things for my party. Here is the info on the party. It will begin in the late afternoon/early evening and continue into the night. There will be about 30 people at the party--it's a co-ed 13th birthday party. There will be mostly girls, though. The theme is a color theme, which is lime, magenta, and orange.There will be music/dancing as well as a pool and jacuzzi. These are the things I need help with :
--how early should I send out the invitations, and should I include a response card or a RSVP number?
--what time should the party start and end?
--what should I give people to take home (party favors)? Don't say that we're too old for those. I was thinking something more classy-looking, such as a candle and a small box of candy along with a burnt CD, or something of the sort. Still looking for ideas
--music--should I make a music mix before hand or tell people to bring CDs?
Please answer as many of these as you can!

Send them invitations at least two weeks early so then people have enough time to alter any plans they may have. and have the RSVP a week b4 the party so then you %26amp; ur family have enough time to prepare for anything/one else
If u or a friend have an ipod and ipod dock you should create a playlist for the party or just put it on shuffle

Reply:you have great ideas, I'm sure you really don't need help ! The candle / cd idea is great, glow sticks is very nice also.
If you prepare the music mix in advance it is prolly better since you will then be free to chat and take care of your guests.
